One of my good old friend insisted me on purchasing "The Book of Fun for Children" from Viva Publications for Medha. I was keep on postponing the purchase as I somehow felt that it won't help Medha much as she is only 2.5 years old and whereas her son is 4.5 years old. But as she was keep on asking me about my experience with that book, I bought the book online from Skoolshop instead from Viva site as some offer was going on in Skoolshop.
OMG, Medha loved this book a lot as each page is an individual activity such as "Dress the Teddy Bear", "Color the caterpillar", "Cut and make Paper Puppets", "Make a hair band", "Match the things", "What is missing?" etc. Each and every page is a perfect activity for kids from 2.5 years - 3 years. Each and every page of book is developed as a Worksheet of Activities for developing cognitive skills of children.
Medha is yet to finish this book and I am looking forward to buy next Volume. They have 5 volumes and each book is different and has different activities.
The only thing we have to be careful is "It requires cutting, gluing etc", means, we need scissors, glue. You need to be careful with kids when you are using Scissors. I first started with activities such as Coloring with Crayons and then moved on to cutting n gluing activities where I was cutting the paper and gave that to Medha to glue it using FeviStick.
And it has Answer Keys also at the end of the book. :)
Introduce your kids too to this book, I am sure they gonna love it. And you will too :)
